Mobile token

We would like to inform you that as of April 8th, 2024, new legal obligations for banks will come into force in accordance with the EU PSD2 Directive (Payment Services Directive 2). This regulation introduces additional security measures for the use of electronic banking and internet card payments.

Activate the Mobile Token for secure banking


To continue using electronic banking services and perform internet payments without interruption, it is necessary to activate the security tool called Mobile Token, integrated within the Adriatic mBank application.

What is the Mobile token?

The Mobile Token is a personalized security feature built into the Adriatic mBank mobile app. It ensures secure transaction authorization and access to digital banking. The token is located directly on your mobile device and serves as an extra layer of protection.

What is the Mobile token used for?

The Mobile token is necessary for:

  • Authorization of card payment transactions over the internet
  • Authorization of payment transactions using the Adriatic mBank application

How to activate the Mobile token?

Activating the Mobile token is very simple.After activating the Mobile token, you can further activate biometric functions (Face ID or Touch ID).
If you have a payment card but you are not Adriatic mBank user:

  1. Download the Adriatic mBank app.
  2. You will receive two SMS messages:
         - One with login credentials for the app.
         - One with the activation code for the Mobile Token.
  3. Open the app, select the "Mobile Token" option, and enter the activation code from the message.
  4. Optionally, enable biometric authentication (Face ID / Touch ID) for a more secure and convenient login.

If you have a payment card and you are already Adriatic mBank user:

  1. ·         You will receive an SMS with the activation code for the Mobile Token.
  2. ·         Open the app, go to "Mobile Token", enter the code, and follow the on-screen instructions.

Note: After successful activation, we recommend enabling biometric authentication (Face ID / Touch ID) for enhanced security and ease of access.
